Data not working after moving to new BYOP

I transferred by daughters Tracfone number/account to a newer iPhone 5s and after getting a new SIM card, I thought everything was ok, but the phone can not access data over a cell even though the switch is turned on.

The phone works fine for making a receiving calls but I can not get data to work.

Now what?

Hello - I'm having the same problem as what happened in this message. I transferred my old number and account (that part worked fine) to a Verizon iphone 5S I even added additional minutes and data to the account and received the text message response after adding the time. The phone and text messages work fine, but I can't use data. If I'm not using Wi-Fi I receive a message that states "Could not activate cellular data network" Turn on cellular data or use Wi-Fi to access data. I too have the data settings all turned What should I do to fix this?

I'm not staff, but i went through the 'no data' iphone problem before. Make sure they get you (ask about it) the right 'profile' for your phone. It's a small file you download, then you go in settings to profiles and click on it and 'trust' it.

If you have the wrong profile or no profile at all your iphone will not get data.

There could be other reasons, but I think that is the main reason tracfone users with iphones have nonworking internet data.

HELP... BYOP with IPhone 5c and NO CELLULAR DATA. I have spent hours on phone with TF.. done it all including reset, profile, on/off.... you all know because you have been there. Is it really going to be fixed.. EVER??? I am not optimistic as I am on hold with Tracfone again to speak with network specialist.

I also have this problem. My data , calling and mms do not work only texting sms. Which is bs and it's been two weeks almost
