VoLTE support for Verizon-branded Galaxy S5

I'm wondering if my phone, an unlocked Verizon-branded Galaxy S5 will ever get VoLTE support by Tracfone before the December 31 2019 deadline when Verizon shuts down their 2G voice. It does have to option to enable VoLTE under advanced calling but sadly it's linked to the My Verizon app. Since I obviously don't have a Verizon account it fails to turn on.

I'm really hoping TracFone will have a solution to this. I'm fearful I'm going to be told I'm going to have to buy a another phone.

I suppose an option would be to flash the phone with some sort of custom ROM that removes the Verizon crap but that does run the risk of bricking it (and would have to get the phone rooted first.)
