Activation Problem - Porting number from Verizon

On September 5th, I started the transfer process of moving my Verizon number to my new Tracfone. It is now the 9th and it is still not been switched. I've tried numerous attempts, called the 1-800 number (pretty useless) and am now stuck.

How can I talk to a live person to get this resolved?
