Phone deactivated and I don't know why

I have been a loyal Tracfone user ever since I got my first cell phone {must have been 20 years ago] and until now have had no problems.
Suddenly without warning, my phone was deactivated last week.
I've tried calling Tracfone many times, trying to find out what was going on to no avail. After I tell them my father's middle name they want the numbers that I call the most but none of the ones I give satisfy them. We go down that same rabbit hole every time I call and at this point, I see no future in calling back. Most of the time I get someone I can barely understand anyway.
I can't remember if I ever actually signed into the website and when I click on "forgot password" it says a new one has been sent but it never arrives in my inbox {or junk mail.}
I'm about ready to give up. I don't know what else to do which is a real drag since I just purchased another year of service and minutes.
Can anyone help?

Same happened to me a little while ago. Someone put minutes and time on my phone but stiffed Tracfone on the payment. I had to cover the cost which were $148 and the only way to do it was by buying another card at a store with a value of $148 or more and then calling them with the pin number. That was the only way to reactivate my phone quickly. I could have disputed it but needed my phone back asap.

My wife's just phone was also deactivated and I suspected that maybe I got scammed by the eBay seller that I bought the airtime card from. They had my wife in tears trying to come up with the correct security questions about who she texted. She couldn't get the right answer.

Buyer beware on eBay.

I had trouble activating a phone bought on the TracFone Ebay store. It finally did activate and now all the included service "buckets" have changed to zero. But it seems like this forum is now a ghost town in the wake of the buyout, and help from the TF reps is no longer forthcoming. Would've been decent of them to post a final (or semi-final?) "goodbye".

Something close to this happened to me also except that my phone was not deactivated. I could not sign in to my online account with tracfone. After many hours on chat and on the phone, I have determined that it is because someone or something mixed my information and phone number in with some Straight Talk information on a phone that is located in a food pantry that I ran but have not set foot in for over five years. I found this out in a conversation with a representative who was the only one who actually tried to assist me. She found that the email for my account was the email of that food pantry which is not my email. She would not take my phone number out of that Straight Talk account because I couldn't give her the PIN for that account. News flash: It's not my account so I don't have the PIN. Note that the 611611 number that you text for balances and other information is the same for both Straight Talk and Tracfone as is the corporate address. I believe that data has been corrupted in the merger of files during the Verizon buyout. The answer that I get when I suggest that scenario is that couldn't possibly be the case.
