Why does no one ever answer questions?

If no one ever answers these posts and you do not have another phone how do you ever get your phone fixed if it is not working?

Luckily I had access to another phone. I was told to turn off Wifi and then go to Mobile Network and turn on VoLTE. That did get my phone to work again, but that person hung up before she could explain what was wrong.

Can anyone explain what VoLTE is and why it has to turn on and what it does? I do not ever remember it ever being turned on before because I thought it was using my Data. I turned Wifi back and it still works can someone please explain what happen? What could have turned it off? Is VoLTE using my data?

This board is pretty much left alone now after the merge. Mergers are rarely ever good and this one gone south for many of us on Tracfone.

As for VoLTE - it means Voice over LTE is an LTE high-speed wireless communication standard for mobile phones and data terminals, including Internet of things (IoT) devices and wearables.
