Unlocking Date for iPhone SE 2020?

I purchased an iPhone SE 2020 last December directly from Tracfone. I activated and starting using right away. I would like to request an unlock, but the Tracfone unlocking website says “not eligible”. I know I have used for more than a year on the service. Any ideas why that wouldn’t work?

Hi Taylor2services. My name is TracFone Jude. Unlocking a TracFone device refers to disabling software that would otherwise prevent you from activating the device on another carriers network. However, due to different carrier technologies, an unlocked TracFone device may not work, or may experience limited functionality, on another carriers network. TracFone is not responsible for any limitations of service, or otherwise, resulting from the use of an unlocked device on another providers network.

For Customers with Apple devices:
• TracFone will automatically unlock the device when it becomes eligible for unlocking.
• For all Apple devices activated with TracFone prior to November 23, 2021, the device will be automatically unlocked after 12 months of active TracFone service.
• For Apple devices activated with new TracFone service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, the device will be automatically unlocked 60 days after activation in the absence of an indication of fraud.

For Customers with non-Apple devices: TracFone will provide an unlocking code to customers who request unlocking, provided they meet the following conditions:

• If the TracFone device was activated with TracFone service prior to November 23, 2021, then the device must have been active on TracFone Service for no fewer than 12 months with Service Plans redeemed in no fewer than 12 months, and not have had their telephone number recycled or ported.
• If the TracFone device was activated with new service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, then at least 60 days must have elapsed since the device was activated.
• The device must be in working condition.
• The device has not been reported stolen or lost, and there are no indicators of fraud.

Deployed Military Personnel:

• If you are a TracFone customer in the military and receive relocation orders outside of the TracFone Coverage Area, we will unlock your device at your request, even during the applicable lock period following the activation of your device.
• All other eligibility criteria apply to TracFone's customers who are deployed military personnel.
• Customers are eligible for this program only once every twelve months.

If you have not met the required minimum period of active TracFone service, TracFone may unlock your device, but you will incur a charge of up to $300, depending on how long your service was active prior to the unlocking request.
