Add New Line and Receive 10,000 point Offer is a Scam

Last night I added a new line and wanted to take advantage of this offer: https://rewards.tracfone.com/add-line
"Receive an Amazing 10,000 Rewards points for every new line establish"
The offer clearly says 10,000 points for my existing line and another 10,000 for the new line , but instead end up with only 7,000 rewards points.
I chatted with several CSR, even received a call and it' a total waste of time, some claim that either the offer is over or they can't see it on their system, the fact is that the offer still alive and every time I click on it it shows the 10,000 + 10,000 not 7,000

It seems many people, including me, got this issue. I read few replies and all of them pointed to an inbox message, but never saw a solution afterwards. I have the same issue and the CCRs were useless. Hope it can be resolved here.

Hi Jude, I just read your private message sent to me Saturday. It seems my account here is not long enough to send private message yet. I can send my tracfone number by email, or just post it here if it is appropriate. Please let me you which way you prefer.
What I was told is that I activated the new tracfone phone and then added it to my existing account. This was considered as an existing line with tracfone, so disqualified for the 7000 points reward. However, the instructions are clearly stated that activating then adding (even says in 30 days). That was I did and probably many people made the same mistake. I hope you can help us to correct it.

I talked a CCR manager and she told me that I activated my new tracfone phone one day before I added the line to my existing account so that this was considered as an existing line, not a new line, disqualified the new line for 7000 reward points (activated on 7/28). However, the online instructions say activation first and then adding the line later (in fact, it says you can do it in 30 days). Probably many peopl made the same mistake. I hope you can help to correct it.
