Exchanging a Phone

Yes I did chat before about this and got some questions answered but I still have some more questions.

So I bought a Smartphone from Tracfone.com about 3 weeks ago. The battery drains too fast on it so I wanted to return the phone and get the same exact phone as a replacement. How do I do that?

First question is do I need to get an RMA or Return Authorization Number from you guys?

2nd question is, I wanted to get the same exact phone again. So I was told to go back to the Tracfone website and purchase it again. But the phone requires me to buy a service plan again. I already got a service plan the first time I bought the phone. I shouldn't have to buy another service plan. That will also end up with me getting a 2nd phone number. All I want is to transfer my current phone number and current minutes, text, and data to the replacement phone. Can you help me with this?
