Tried changing Service to Nokia phone, No network detected.

I tried switching my service from a Blu R1 HD to a Nokia Cricket phone (Model TA-1218) which as the activation kit seemed to suggest using the GSM sim card. Well it doesn't seem to work. If it's just incompatible I'm not sure, but I tried transferring back to my old phone and it wont let me. so I'm now stuck with no phone, and this happening during a time that the only way I can get confirmation for vaccination is through phone, is a big problem. I have been trying all I can for days, and can't find any support. I need a phone, can some one help me.
