This isn't very convenient, but you can disable the browser key to avoid accidental activation by locking the entire LG100C keyboard:
Go to Menu:9:3 which is your Keyguard Timer menu. The default is OFF. Choose the timeout interval you want and Ok. You get the message “KeyGuard Timer is set” After the elapsed number of seconds without keyboard activity, the message that usually says “Browser”(at the lower rightmost corner) changes to “Unguard.” At this point no more key presses work except that of the Browser key which, when pushed, asked you to confirm the request to unguard and gives you only a few seconds to do so before it goes back to guarded. If you Unguard, then the keyboard is, once again unlocked.
