No web access except at home

Why can I only get web access at home? If I leave my home wi fi area I have no web access at all. What am I doing wrong?

I have the same problem with both of my Samsung A51 phones. They updated the operating system and I immediately lost web connection unless I am at home. I have checked all the obvious things, like airplane mode, etc., but I am unfamiliar with the other settings.
