Activation Prevention

I get the following message when attempting online activation of the keep my own phone but provide a new number option set:
"Your SIM Card is in an invalid status."
...though the green checkmark is sitting there next to it, again this is the Tracfone Sim Kit for my Nokia 6300 4G, the Verizon card from the kit.

I am also having this issue.

It is a brand new sim card and I do not have an account yet.
I do have a plan pin to use with the sim, already.
